#GLAMReadyToLead

WE equip girls across the globe with the skills and confidence to seek leadership roles, feel power within their voice, and create positive change in the world.

WE envision a world where all girls and young women feel empowered and supported to reach their fullest potential, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances.

WE are a diverse mix of exceptional companies and passionate individuals who are committed to investing in and inspiring future female leaders. Together, we will 'bridge the gender gap, reduce gender bias, and increase diversity through mentorship' in STEM, business, and leadership for global impact.

GLOBAL ENGAGEMENTS

#10000WomenBy2030 - We support the United Nations "Decade of Action" and are committed to giving girls visible, positive, female role models by showcasing 10,000 Women In STEM, business, and leadership by 2030.

Research shows that positive role models have an amplified benefit for females due to the gender biases, institutional barriers, and negative stereotypes.

#GirlsEducation - Every day, girls and young women face social, cultural, and economic barriers to education. Receiving a quality education is a basic human right. ensuring our STEM education and leadership programs are FREE to all girls, including underserved, underrepresented, and historically marginalized communities.

#LetGirlsLearn - Globally, around 62 million girls aren’t regularly attending school. We are working to change attitudes towards the value of girls’ lives by encouraging positive gender roles, more effective skills building, and increased community engagement.

GLAM Founder Renée La Londe

Girls Leadership Academy Meetup (GLAM Ready To Lead) operates as a 501(c)3 nonprofit. This organization was founded in 2016 in Silicon Valley, CA by iTalent Digital CEO and Founder, Renée La Londe.

All virtual and in-person STEM education and leadership programs offered by GLAM are free of charge to girls aged 8 to 12 to ensure equitable participation opportunities. "I often share with them that my dad died when I was 12, and while that was very difficult for me, that is not what defines me. I have the power to define my own life and set my own path, and so do they," Renée confirms.

GLAM equips girls across the globe with the skills and confidence to seek leadership roles, feel power within their voice, and create positive change in the world, a world where all girls and young women feel empowered and supported to reach their fullest potential, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances.

Through our innovative curriculum and positive mentorship, we help bridge the gender gap and reduce gender bias in STEM, business, and leadership by empowering and inspiring more girls and young women to become the leaders of tomorrow!

It is so satisfying to see the transformation that takes place in these girls aged 8–12 as they learn to feel the power in their voice, make their opinions known, and see themselves as leaders.
