Arm is a technology company who work in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Security and 5G. Our technology is in 95% of mobile devices and is used by more than 80% of people in the world. We help everybody from bankers to farmers, students to surgeons, and small to huge businesses to develop the technology they need. We also help to ensure that the benefits of technology are extended to everyone, making the world more connected.

Our headquarters are in Cambridge, UK. We also have big offices in Bangalore (India), Austin and San Jose (US) and Sophia Antipolis (France). Arm is a global company; we have 48 offices around the world in total.

We can see into the future. Our engineers and researchers develop technology that won’t reach most people until 5 or even 10 years from now! For example, self-driving cars.

As individuals, we also live by three ‘Core Values’ at Arm: Be Your Brilliant Self, Passion for Progress and We, Not I.

We are most famous for having created a semiconductor (the chip you find in phones and other mobile devices) that was so small and energy efficient that it transformed mobile phones. Before this, there were no iPhones! Arm are also famous for technology that is in 95% of mobile devices, for enabling ‘wearable’ technology like FitBits, and for being a leading company in tackling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

There are many different kinds of people at Arm, all of whom like to have fun in different ways! Some of us sign up to Arm’s cycling challenges. Others love to volunteer their time and expertise to their local community. And others enjoy our famous Christmas parties!
